Vets Continue

Another great result for The Bulldogs in their pre-season campaign. Another squad with lots of new players getting minutes ahead of the new season approaching, mixed with those playing last year.
Next week The Bulldogs travel to Wymondham FC Vets for another pre-season friendly.

Pre Season continues

With a mixed team including New trialists Bradenham again came out on top again today playing some fantastic football.
Swaffham to their credit never gave up and were up against it from the start only having 11 players and no subs.
Good spirited game and great football played.
Special mention to Stuart Baldry for his 25yd top corner goal!! Definitely had his eyes 👀 shut lol

Bradenham & Mattishall Sundays 5 v 1 Yaxham Reserves Saturdays.

Bradenham & Mattishall started the game well, creating a few good chances and showing signs of the good play that was seen during the previous game away at Attleborough in a 5:1 win, but Yaxham did grab the first goal of the game 25 mins into the first half, with a goal on the counter. Bradenham & Mattishall went into half time 0:1 despite all the good play and chances created.

Going into the second half the boys knew a fast start was needed to get themselves back into the game, Sam Burton made a big impact coming on from the bench and scored the equaliser, which was a brilliant strike top corner from just inside Yaxhams half, the boys then grew into the game. Soon after Bradenham & Mattishall went into the lead with a great finish by Flynn Dickinson, Bradenham & Mattishall continued on the front foot adding the final two goals in the final 15 minutes of the match, 1 from Louis Lowe and 1 from Harvey Flynn, both very well taken goals.

The match finished with Bradenham & Mattishall winning 4:1 against a very good Yaxham Reserves side. The boys showed great fight after being 1 down at half time and once again all playing very well. The Sundays side season kicks off on Sunday 3rd September at home against Waterloo United.

Bradenham & Mattishall Sundays kicked off there first pre season friendly away at Attleborough.

The lads started the game well with a lot of promising attacks, and after 15 mins Bradenham & Mattishall found the breakthrough with Rodrigo Fonseca getting the first goal through some brilliant play, from this it was all Bradenham & Mattishall for the rest of the half, with Rodrigo getting two more goals (1 from the penalty spot & 1 from open play) completing the hat trick, Harvey Flynn also grabbed a well finished goal from outside the box just before half time.

The second half saw Bradenham & Mattishall, concede 15 minutes into the second with a well worked goal by Attleborough, but Bradenham & Mattishall soon replied with Harvey Flynn winning another penalty and Rodrigo Fonseca scoring once again from the spot to make that 4 goals for him on the day.

The match finished with the scoreline ending 5-1 with a convincing win for the Bradenham & Mattishall lads, a great performance against a higher division side.
